U.S. Embassy San Jose supports visit of plane participating in the HIPPO mission

San Jose-January 29, 2009

Ambassador Cianchette visited Juan Santamaria Airport to learn about the plane participating in the HIPPO mission (HIAPER Pole-to-Pole Observations). He met with the mission's specialists, Costa Rican Minister of Science and Technology Eugenia Flores, Costa Rican scientists, and the President of the Costa Rican Electricity Institution (ICE) Pedro Pablo Quiros.
