Tax Assistance for Persons Filing U.S. Income Tax ReturnsFrom February 23-25, 2005, an Internal Revenue Service tax assistance specialist will be available for brief individual consultations in the U.S. Embassy in Pavas, San Jose on an appointment basis. Persons
wishing to consult with the tax assistance specialist should call
519-2294 for an appointment, or submit their request via fax to 220-2455
(clearly marked “IRS Appointment Request”).
On the day of the appointment, they should enter the Embassy via
the main entrance, and present photo identification to the receptionist
in the Embassy lobby. The
tax assistance specialist will be available during the following hours: Wednesday,
February 23: 8:15 a.m.-12
p.m.; 1-4:30 p.m. Thursday,
February 24: 8:15 a.m.-12
p.m.; 1-4:30 p.m. Friday,
February 25: 8:15 a.m.-12
p.m.; 1-4:30 p.m. Please have your questions prepared beforehand since there is great demand for this free service. |
